RESIDENTIAL RECYCLING
COLLECTION
Will be collected curbside on your usual garbage day, every other week or weekly depending on area. Please have out by 6:00 a.m., thank you!
COMBINE IN COMMINGLE RECYCLING CART:
STYRAFOAM OR SHREDDED PAPER IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE RECYCLING CART.
Shredded paper can no longer go in the recycling. Bags of shredded paper can break open and make a mess. Please put it in the garbage, use a shredding service, or take it to a recycling center.
PLASTIC
Thoroughly rinse containers so they are clean of all food residue/waste. Must be 2 inches by 2 inches or larger (smaller items go in the garbage). Plastic bottles, tubs, nursery pots, and buckets (6 oz.- 5 gal). Caps can be left on plastic jugs. Please no plastic bags, films, spray pump tops, styrafoam or bottles that contained any chemical products.
PAPER
Scrap paper, paper bags, boxes, magazines, newspaper, junk mail. Milk cartons, drink boxes, etc. - please rinse well-- No: shredded paper, tissues, napkins, waxed paper, frozen food boxes, food-soiled paper, styrafoam or hard cover books.
CARDBOARD
Flatten boxes--size limited to less than 3'x3' No: wax-coated cardboard, styrafoam or boxes containing food. Pizza boxes - please remove food liners and plastic. Frozen pizza boxes go in the garbage.
METAL AND AEROSOL CANS (Please no lids)
Empty and rinse cans--labels OK. No food residue allowed. Rinse metal caps, lids, aluminum foil, and foil baking trays Empty aerosol cans completely and remove plastic caps--keep nozzle intact, puncture hole in bottom of can. metal paint cans only accepted with less than 1" dry paint
SCRAP METAL

PLACE GLASS IN RED BIN BESIDE YOUR CARTS:
GLASS--PLEASE USE YOUR RED BIN - glass bottles and jars only
Place 2' from garbage cart, rinse glass containers completely clean of food, and remove lids. No: broken glass, cookware, window glass, mirrors, light bulbs, or drinking glasses
MOTOR OIL
Place motor oil in a see-through plastic container (such as milk jug) with a screw-top lid. Motor oil only. Please limit to maximum of three jugs set out at a time. Please no other liquids, including antifreeze.
